The Bebe Shower invite

So excited to see our friends this Week-End for the baby shower.

We are all so lucky to have such beautiful families and friends....

What a difference in only 3 weeks:

I took the 1st picture (29 weeks) before Olivier and I left for France and the second one (32 weeks) when we got back.

J'ai pris la premiere photo (a 29 semaines) avant de partir en France avec Olivier et la seconde (a 32 semaines) quand nous sommes rentres.

The little alien is growing....

Lucky Charms

Hello everyone,

Well, it's only taken me almost 12 weeks to post something here, so I thought I'd get started before the baby is born!

The photo here is of some of the lucky charms we have had around our home to create a welcoming environment for our eagerly awaited bebe.

Michel & Olivier gave us the baby angel, which sits atop Corinna's fertility dish that was made for her by Lou before Lucas was born.  M & O also gave us the fertility pigs and green kiwi that apparently is so lucky it's original owner won't even have it in her home any more for fear of falling pregnant again!

Above our bed is also a tiki that Anne-Marie & Leon leant to us to give our fertility a boost last year.

All in all, I don't know if it was all the lucky charms or just timing, and an embryo that was very excited about not being frozen any more and wanted to join our loving family.  Either way we are very excited and particularly so as we are having our 12 weeks scan this Friday.

We'll upload a photo from the scan later in the week ...  

... introducing "Ducky" and " Litl' Angel", these 2 littles "helpers" are part of a collection of Good Luck charms surrounding us (car, home, bathroom...) that we have been given, found or even some of our friends have lent us to make this little jelly bean (in the picture in the centre at 7 weeks scan) all happen.

We have had so much love and positive attitude during this journey that made all the ups and down worth wile,

it has taken time, strength and resilience ... moments of deception and questionning but i do believe that things were just not quite aligned correctly for the miracle of life to happen.

Last year was a challenge but made us 4 (the mummies and daddies) grow even closer together as a real solid family unit... making it possible for this baby to come into our lifes.

it is still early days but things are looking up, life is smiling back at us,

from the bottom of my heart i thank all our friends and family for their support.

We are only at the start of a long journey, but we know it will be filled with Love.
